Molly Fish

A finely observed monochrome study of a molly, drawn in pen with subtle stippling and flowing line work that echoes the movement of its delicate tail. This piece belongs to a series of four freshwater fish, and explores texture, light and pattern through restrained, minimal mark-making.

This artwork is drawn on 310gsm Arches watercolour paper and presented in a floating mount within a black wooden frame with subtle natural wood edges visible, creating a clean, contemporary finish.
